Alessandro

I panicked when I saw her sneak away so early. I thought she was really making good on her threats about taking her chances with the sharks to escape the island.

I’d jumped into a pair of trousers and followed her deeper into the wilderness and the worry morphed into something a lot stronger—animalistic, a deep-rooted jealousy I was not entitled to feel.

I frowned as I slowed my steps. She was easy to follow with her bright red dress… I speculated she was going to meet one of the guards. Was she meeting Mario? Did they get closer while I was away? Was that why he let her break the rules with Pietro? I turned toward the house, but I could barely make it out through the overabundant foliage. I tightened my fists as an image of Mario taking her flashed in my mind, and I wanted to kill him for it. Was she meeting the new guard? The one who clearly had a death wish if he took what was mine.

She’s not yours, Alessandro, my conscience tried, but I smothered it. In real life she wasn’t, she deserved a good, safe life, but within the mafia world? Fuck if I let anyone steal her from me. In this world, she belonged to no one else but me.

I turned toward her and took a few more steps before stopping. My body tensed as I watched her shimmy out of her dress, revealing the tiny bikini I bought her just to piss her off.

Well, the joke was on me, because my cock was waking up with a vengeance and the influx of blood was painful.

That woman’s body was nothing like I expected the little angry prude to be. Well, I did have a glimpse of her figure when I took her to the island in her tight dress, but my mind was much more occupied by all the shit that would follow this one insane decision than to take the time to admire her. But now, I could feast my eyes on every inch of her, and it was worth the early morning walk in the fucking jungle. Fuck, I was sure it was even worth a swim with the sharks!

She was all soft curves and silky skin. She had full, perky breasts and a small waist that flared to rounder hips and a shapely backside. She had a lot of scars, but it didn’t make her any less sexy or attractive, at least not to me. This woman was a warrior, a woman who experienced a world of pain I could not even start to comprehend, and she was here, standing, laughing, giving love and care to the people around her. Her battle scars made her even more attractive and caused so many conflicting emotions inside me. I wanted to worship her and protect her, but I also wanted to pleasure her and dominate her in ways I hoped she would enjoy.

I should have walked away when she stepped into the water—there was no threat, no attempt to escape—yet I had to show myself to her.
